Our Vision

Our primary vision is to show to the community in which we live that God is alive! By bringing people together who will demonstrate this truth through what they believe and how they live, we aim to offer the saving power of Jesus to those who do not know Him.

Central to the outworking of this vision is a desire that New Life Community Church would be a place of refreshment, healing and counsel - a place where we can be made whole and learn to live to the full potential of God's plan for our lives.

We aim to do this in the following ways:

• Through an emphasis on the preaching of the Word of God. This will always be at the heart of our vision as we believe that it is a central foundation both for the individual's life and also for the corporate life of the church. Through the proclamation of that Word we desire to see people growing into mature men and women of God.
• Through lively and meaningful expressions of worship to God in which there is an encouragement to allow the Holy Spirit to move among us, releasing His gifts to encourage and build up the church.
• Through pastoral care and ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit both at a personal and family level within the church and in the community.
• Through evangelistic outreach. We believe an ongoing and varied evangelistic programme is essential if we are to reach a broken and hurting world with the love of God.
• Through serving the community by offering practical help and support to those in any kind of need. In this way we believe the gospel will be seen to be more than words, as we reach out to the elderly, the lonely, the unemployed, the single parent family, the bereaved, the terminally ill, and the young, etc.
