Our Statement of Faith

We believe…

In the revelation of God as given in the Old and New Testament scriptures and that these are the inspired Word of God.

That the scriptures reveal one God in three person, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God; that He was born of a virgin; that He died and was raised again to life; that He ascended to the Father; and that He will return again.

In the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus as the sole means of redemption from the guilt and power of sin and from it's eternal consequences, and that on our repentance and personal acceptance of Christ's death for us we are born again of the Spirit of God.

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a necessary part of the Christian experience.

In the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the upbuilding and encouragement of the Body of Christ.

In water baptism by immersion of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

In the frequent celebration of the Lord's supper as a remembrance of the death and resurrection of Christ and as a proclamation of His coming again.

"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
